RefWorks is being renamed to EndNote Fusion and will bring together both EndNote and RefWorks capabilities. We are anticipating this change will occur in early October.
Do I need to take any action as a current RefWorks user?
Nope! Users do not need to do anything prior to this update. If you are a current RefWorks user, you will still be able to sign in and work with your existing data, but you will see some updated colors and a refreshed design.
All existing accounts, references, settings, projects, folders, attachments, tags, citation styles, and sharing permissions will transfer automatically.
Will RefWorks Citation Management (RCM) change?
RCM will be renamed to EndNote Fusion, but users should not need to take any additional action. Citing workflows within Word and Google Docs will continue to be supported.
