When using the Advanced Search option on the library's main search bar (aka "Summon"), it is possible to bookmark items for future access. In order to do so, you will first need to log in through Summon. If you save items without logging in, the items will only be saved temporarily, and will not be saved after closing the browser. Below are some steps to ensure you can save items in Summon and access them in the future
- To access Summon, start on the library's main page and click on the Advanced Search option. You can enter in your search terms from there to look for sources on any topic.
- On the results page, you'll find a Log in option in the top right corner of the page. Click on that and select the Log in with your Liberty Account option. If prompted, enter your Liberty credentials and you'll be logged in.
- If you're unsure if you're logged in, look in that same top right corner. If it still says "Log in," you have not signed in just yet. If you see an orange outline of a person, you are logged in and can safely save articles in Summon. See the screenshots below for guidance.
- To save a title, click on the bookmark icon in the item's description. Hovering your mouse over the bookmark will show "Save This Item." Click on that to save it to your account.
- If you want to access previously saved titles, look for the white bookmark icon in the top right corner of the page. If you've saved any titles, it will display the number of materials saved. Click on that bookmark to display the list of titles you've saved in Summon.
