PsycTests is a database providing the full-text of publicly available psychological measures, scales, surveys, and other testing instruments across the behavioral and social sciences. These are freely available for download as PDFs.

To access the database:

  1. Start on the library's homepage here.
  2. Click on the Psychology option in the dark blue box on the right side.
  3. On the following page, scroll down until you find PsycTests. Then, click on it.

You can search PsycTests by keyword to locate testing instruments on a particular subject, or you can search for the name of a specific test to see if it is available. Filters such as test type, test methodology, age group, instrument type, gender, population group, and other options are provided to assist in focusing your search for a particular testing instrument.

If a particular instrument is listed but is not available in PDF, access to the full-text will need to be requested from the authors. The author(s) information can be located by selecting the instrument name and the author(s) contact information will be included in the “Email” section.
