There are multiple ways to find book reviews in our library. To start off with, you need to begin on our homepage here: https://www.liberty.edu/library/.

Using Find Resources search bar

  1. Select Advanced Search located under the Find Resources bar.
  2. Next, go to the Content Type column on the right and check Book Review.
  3. Once Book Review is checked, navigate to the search bar in the middle of the page and put in the title of the book for which you are looking.
  4. After selecting Search at the bottom, you will be given results listing the title, author, journal title, and date of review.
  5. Many of these will be available as full text articles. To read, simply click on the link below the search result that says Full Text Online.

Using Gale Literature

  1. Select Browse All Databases to the right of the Find Resources search bar.
  2. On the databases page search for Gale Literature. (Or click the letter G in the alphabet and scroll down).
  3. This database contains book reviews and also provides more types of information than just book reviews.
  4. Once you are in the database, simply go to the search bar and put in the title of the book you are looking for reviews on.
