Yes! The robotic system provides on-site storage for a large part of the Library's physical collection. Residential and local patrons can request items from the robotic system by using the following steps:

  1. Start on the library homepage: http://www.liberty.edu/library/.
  2. Access the item’s record in the library catalog.
  3. If you are not already signed in, click on the Sign in to request this item button. After you have signed in, click on Request to pickup.
  4. Click on Send Request. Library staff will retrieve the book from the robotic system and have it on hold for you behind the front desk in about 15 minutes.

Because these materials are print books rather than eBooks, please note that they cannot be checked out electronically. Online students can request an item from the robotic system be mailed to them through Interlibrary Loan.
