  1. Go to the library homepage at www.liberty.edu/library.
  2. Click the All button to the left of the Search Anything bar.  Change it to Books.
  3. Click the Print Books button below the Search Anything bar.
  4. Type the title of the book that you’re looking for, then click Go.
  5. If your book pops up in the list (and is not on reserve or unavailable), you can request the book through interlibrary loan.  Proceed to Step 6.
  6. Go to the library homepage at www.liberty.edu/library.
  7. Go to the top right to the Research dropdown menu.  Click Interlibrary Loan.
  8. Scroll down the page until you get to Details.  Click Online Students.
  9. The Online Students page explains our policies, including deliverty times.  When you’re ready, go to the gray ILLiad box to the right and click Create Account.
  10. Click First Time Users Click Here at the bottom of the next screen.
  11. Enter in your information, then click Submit Information.  ILLiad, our interlibrary loan system, is independent of your Liberty account, so you can enter in whatever password you would like.
  12. Once you’ve created your account, log in, then click Book under New Request to the left.
  13. Type in the publication information of the book you’d like to request.  Try to be as specific as possible. When you’re ready, click Submit Request.  Afterward, you should receive an email when your item is ready to ship.
