Sometimes you may see an article that says Get it @ Liberty. When this occurs, click the link that says Check for this article in other LU resources. This will check for access in the Library's other databases.  If we have the article in another database, under the View Online section, you will see the words Full Text Availability, one or more links will appear below. Click one of those links for access.

If the Library does not have access to that article in any of our databases, you will need to submit a request through Interlibrary Loan. To submit a request for an article, please complete the following steps:

  1. First, go to the library’s main page.
  2. To the top right select the Services drop-down menu and select InterLibrary Loan.
  3. Once the page loads, look on the left-hand side for a box that says Log in to ILLiad. (Note: First-time users will be asked to create an account. Fill out the form and proceed to the next step)
  4. Once you are logged in, look on the left under New Request and click on Article.
  5. Fill out the information about the article you wish to read and click Submit Request.
  6. Within 1–5 business days, you will be notified via email about the request you made.

If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to us at (434) 582-2220 or at research@liberty.edu.
