To find articles on education and/or children, we would recommend using any of the databases featured on the Education and/or Counseling & Psychology Research portals. Please complete the below steps:

Resources on the Education Portal:

  1. Click on the following link to begin: Search
  2. When the page loads, look in the top right corner and notice the 4 headers. One of them should say Research. If you place your mouse over Research, a dropdown will appear. From the list, select Research Guides.
  3. When the next page loads, look on the right under Research Guides and select Education.
  4. Once you select Education, you'll be taken to the Education page.
  5. From here, look in the top section and you should see different tabs that are in red. Please select Databases.
  6. Some of our most popular education databases will be featured in the center of the page under Featured Resources.

Resources on the Counseling & Psychology Portal:

  1. Click on the following link to begin: Search
  2. When the page loads, look in the top right corner and notice the 4 headers. One of them should say Research. If you place your mouse over Research, a dropdown will appear. From the list, select Research Guides.
  3. When the next page loads, look on the right under Research Guides and select Counseling & Psychology.
  4. Once you select Counseling & Psychology, you'll be taken to the Counseling & Psychology page.
  5. From here, look in the top section and you should see different tabs that are in red. Please select Databases.
  6. Some of our most popular databases will be featured in the center of the page under Featured Resources.
  7. In addition to the Featured Resources, on the right under Additional Resources, you'll want to also click on Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection.
